Our EPDM rubber granules are ideal for high-performance sports fields, playgrounds and safety flooring. Made from ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM), they have excellent resistance to oxidation, ozone and corrosion, and can last long even in adverse weather conditions.
As a member of the polyolefin family, EPDM rubber has excellent vulcanization characteristics, making it more durable and resilient. EPDM has the lowest density of all rubber types and can absorb large amounts of fillers and oils without affecting its performance.

EPDM offers superior UV resistance and color stability compared to TPV, and better elasticity and durability than SBR. Unlike SBR (recycled tire rubber), EPDM is virgin material specifically engineered for playground safety with consistent quality.
Yes! EPDM can be applied over concrete using a polyurethane binder system. Proper surface preparation (cleaning, leveling, and priming) is crucial for adhesion. We recommend a minimum 30mm thickness for safety surfacing over hard substrates.
