The jogging track of Shanghai University is a typical renovation project we took over, which is a standard 400 meter running track. We use red EPDM rubber granules with a three-layer permeable structure and a porous layout to achieve rapid drainage (permeability ≥ 0.5 mm/s), prevent surface water accumulation, and ensure year-round usability.
Joint Protection & Injury Prevention
Considering that it is a university, there will be many students engaging in running activities. To protect students from repeated impact on their knees, ankles, and buttocks while jogging. The excellent shock absorption performance of EPDM (which can reduce impact by up to 35% compared to hard surfaces) produces a cushioning rebound effect, mimicking natural terrain.
